May 4, 2012 – Fred Thomas, the mayor of Princeton, passed away this morning.
The Inaugural meeting of the Coalmont Tax Payers Association will be held at the Coalmont Hotel November 22nd at 7:00 PM
Dan Rice passed away Thursday June 2, 2011. He was born September 25, 1926. There will be a Graveside Service at 3pm on June 11, 2011 at Granite Creek Cemetery. Tea to follow in Tulameen.
Tom Stout has passed away this last weekend in January 2011.
The next Princeton Museum Meeting is Wednesday, October 20 at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Princeton Visitors’ Centre. Coalmontians are encouraged to join.

There is now an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting available in our area. Saturday 7:30pm at the Tulameen Library.
Our next Town Meeting will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Coalmont Hotel.

Kenneth John Thompson passed away on January 11, 2009. Born October 9, 1947, Ken is survived by his mother Jean, brothers Bruce and Gordon, son Troy, and his daughter Cora-Lee who lives in Princeton.
Condolences go out to Terry and Anne Rees. Anne’s dad, Don Moore passed away on January 20, 2009.
Ruby Blanche English, née Ready, passed away December 25, 2008 in Princeton. Ruby was born July 1, 1927. Our condolences go out to husband Jim and daughter Lynda who still live here in Coalmont, and son Patrick of Chilliwack.
Peggy Falk, née Lakeland, passed away July 30, 2008 at the age of 92. She was born June 20, 1916, and went to school in Blakeburn where her father worked as a police officer. She is burried in Princeton.
We missed this one last year, but it is important. There was a wake for Linda at the Granite Creek campground, and a bench was erected in her honour. Linda Pudsey passed away December 8, 2007 at the age of 44.
Welcome to Denis Hutchison who has just finished moving in on Hope Street. After a lot of trips back and forth from Surrey he is ready for a well deserved rest before he settles in here for the long haul. Dennis is the brother of Randy Folk, so he is no stranger to the area.
Welcome to Tom Faliszewski and family who will be comming up frequently to enjoy their new summer getaway. Tom is the designer of the cottages on Columbia Street.
Darren Clark and his son Matthew have just left the community for a new home in Alberta. After four years in Coalmont, they’re looking forward to the change but they’ll be back to visit family here.
Rolly is moving into a new place on Betts. After years on the mountain, coming down here is a bit of a culture shock, but he’s up for it. He even bought a car to replace his quad.
