Officials of Coalmont Energy Corp.
will hold a public information session for all local residents on Friday, August 30th at 5:00 p.m. at the Tulameen Community Hall, 2597 Otter Avenue.

Coalmont Energy Corporation will be holding a “job fair” at the Princeton and District Community Skills Centre on January 16 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

An All Candidates Forum will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30 at Riverside Centre in Princeton. This will include both the Princeton and the Area ‘H’ candidates.

Saturday September 3 is Information Day for Princeton’s Aquatic Centre. This will be at 10 am in the Tulameen Community Hall. The actual referendum will be September 24. This is important because Coalmont and Tulameen residents could end up with a very large increase in property tax – especially those with multiple lots.

The Princeton Museum has received a much needed complete renovation, and will celebrate its Grand Re-Opening on Friday July 1st, 2011 in conjunction with Canada Day celebrations including singing, birthday cake, games, live stage performances and much more. The entire community is invited to join in the re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 am at 167 Vermilion Avenue, Princeton BC.

The Tulameen Marketplace will be held at the Tulameen Community Hall Saturday, May 21 from 9 am to 2 pm. It will feature crafts, a bake sale, raffle, plant sales, etc. All are welcome. Proceeds go to the Tulameen Community Club. Tables are available for rent at $25 per table. Contact mardi (at) telus.net for information.

Friday 19 to Sunday 21 August marks the dates for this summer’s 4rd Annual Princeton Traditional Music Festival. Check it out.

The next meeting of the Princeton Museum Society is Wednesday, February 16 at 7 pm in the Meeting Room of the Princeton Library. (Note the change in venue.) The AGM is Wednesday, March 23 at 7 pm in the Meeting Room of the Princeton Library.

The Vermilion Trails Society is the steward of a section of the Trans Canada Trail between Brookmere and Osprey Lake. They hold regular meetings the second Wednesday each month at 7pm in the Chamber of Commerce building (Visitor Info Center) and are always looking for volunteers. Call Judy at 295-0217.
